About UsIn The Picture was established in 1997, we are a family owned and operated framing & art store, run by Paul & Nicola MacKenzie. At The Picture we proud to be able to help artists, craft people, families & sport memobillia collectors design the framing to show off & preserve there treasured memories.
All work is carried out on site by a Qualified picture framer, as well I have carpentry qualifications as well, which comes in handy on some the more unusual jobs. We also cater for the people who like to do there own framing, we can supply lengths of moulding, full sheets of matboard (also known as mounts) or offcuts of matboard, all the accessories and DIY equipment you need to do that framing job, and you are having a problem doing it, or not sure how to do it, I’am happy to give you advice .
In 2002 we incorporated Beaux Arts into our business so we could also supply our customers with the art supplies they need, which made us the largest framing & art supply shop on the southside of Brisbane if not all of Brisbane.
If don’t have what you need in stock we can order it in, or if something you use on a regularly we can make it a stock item.
